Gernod Gayk
Gernod Gayk, born 1976 in Osterode close to the Harz mountains, grew up not far
from there in Stauffenburg. Due to complete lack of excitement in this one-horse
town, Gernod sketched his own world, likely to resemble Heavy Metal album
covers.
People said: Look how pretty you can draw! When you are a grown-up you should
use your talent. Maybe study fine arts or something.
So he passed his university entrance exam in Goslar and picked up his studies of
Design and Media at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover
(FHH). He graduated from FHH with his graphic novel "Nase ab".
Today, Gernod lives and works as a graphic designer for an advertising agency in
Hannover.
He also publishes Comic strips and Cartoons on the internet, in magazines and
newspapers. But there's more to come!
